The Farmers Market Bars have a reputation for unique staff. Many of the bartenders are permanent fixtures in and around the Market and have, over the years, gained a loyal following. But, their talents don’t end there. Cynthia Catania, Jay Souza and Lucky Islam are all skilled musicians with their own bands and, when they are not pouring cold beers and fine wine, perform at venues stretching from LA to NYC and across the pond. In November 2009 EB’s hosted a show featuring all three bartenders and their bands, as a kick off to the winter holiday season.

The cheers and applause had barely faded before everyone demanded a repeat performance which is what’s going to happen this month. The Farmers Market Rock & Roll Bartenders’ Ball 2 will shake, rattle and roll EBs’ West Patio to its’ 76 year old foundations, on Friday, May 21st.. The show begins at 7pm with Cynthia Catania, quickly followed by special guest Speedtwinn. Next up is Jay Souza and 50 Cent Hair Cut and, closing out the evening, Chemistry of the Universe, featuring the ever popular Lucky Islam. If you dig great homegrown music this is a night you will not want to miss. Bring your friends, order some beers from EBs’ or 326 and get ready to rock and roll.
