Farmers Market Wines are Getting Kicked Up a Notch!
You would think that Friday night karaoke, hosted by EB's Beer and
Wine at the Original Farmers Market, is so popular, fun, and
affordable, that it couldn't get any better. But the folks at the
World Famous Farmers Market Bars are always thinking of new ways to
delight the revelers who flock to their events.
Due to the success of last spring's wine festival, it is clear that
local wine drinkers have a discerning palate, and are on the lookout
for the next new thing.
With this in mind EB's will host tastings on the last Friday of
every month, beginning January 29th, to introduce new, hand-picked
discoveries. And unlike those other stuffy wine tasting events, EB's
makes theirs laid-back and fun by pairing wine with karaoke. Come
sing your heart out to your favorite pop song, while test-driving a
new chardonnay.
Every month EBs will introduce four new sippers that will be sure to
excite your tastebuds. This month features a juicy Malbec from
Mendoza Argentina, a fresh and zesty Semillon from South Australia,
and more! For only $7 you get to taste each wine, and then enjoy a
glass of your favorite one.

Fans of great live music, in Los Angeles, know the best place to
hear it is at the Original Farmers Market, corner of 3rd & Fairfax.
Every summer the Market presents outstanding local and world famous
artists. These last two years, 326 and EBs’ Beer & Wine,
collectively known as Farmers Market Bars, have upped the ante. With
EB.s’ steadily at the helm, FM Bars’ Saturday night Ranch Party
country showcase, and Wednesdays’ Karaoke Hoedown, have the crowds
begging for more, week after week, rain or shine. Add to this,
special yearly events, such as EB.s’ Summer Luau, Halloween Costume
Party, New Years-eve celebrations, spring and autumn wine and beer
tasting festivals, and you have a calendar that is just bursting
with Farmers Market “must attend” dates. If you think all this is
enough, then read no further, because your limit for great
entertainment has been reached.
The Farmers Market Bars have a reputation for unique staff, too.
Many of the bartenders are permanent fixtures in and around the
Market and have, over the years, gained a loyal following. But,
their talents don’t end there. Cynthia Catania, Jay Souza and Lucky
Islam are all skilled musicians with their own bands and, when they
are not pouring cold beers and fine wine, perform at venues
stretching from LA to NYC and across the pond.
EB’s and 326 Beer & Wine are the bars of the Original Farmers
Market, west of the Grove, Los Angeles, CA.
